Product Description

The 172 Recessed Key Keeper is designed to provide postal workers access to residential and commercial buildings. Built from aluminum, the 172 meets and exceeds Canada Post delivery standards. Designed for interior or exterior use.

Tech Specs

  • Compartment: 24-gauge galvanized steel assembled by process of clinching

  • Door: Extruded 6063-T5 aluminum 3/32" (2.39mm) thick 

  • Frame: Extruded 6063-T5 aluminum alloy 3/8" (9.53mm) thick

  • Finish: All aluminum surfaces have a clear anodized finish

  • CMC™ Model172 Recessed Key Keeper meets and exceeds Canada Post delivery standards

  • Front loading unit to be fully recessed in an interior or exterior wall

  • Constructed from extruded aluminum with a clear anodized finish on all surfaces

  • Striated vertical lines on the trim to reduce scratching and marring

  • Equipped with a postal bracket designed for a Canada Post master lock

  • Prepared with four (4) predrilled holes 3/16” (4.77mm) to facilitate installation
