Product Description

The 1301 Pedestal Mount Horizontal Mailbox is designed for commercial and institutional buildings. Built from extruded aluminum, the 1301 meets and exceeds all centralized delivery needs. Designed for interior or exterior use..

Tech Specs

  • Compartments: Shelves and dividers are 24-gauge galvanized steel with extruded aluminum support bars

  • Doors: Extruded 6063-T5 aluminum 3/32" (2.38mm) thick

  • Frame: Extruded 6063-T5 aluminum 1/16” (1.58mm) thick

  • Locks: 5-pin cylinder cam lock with 1000 different changes. Each lock has three (3) keys

  • Door Identification: Rounded rectangular indentation 5/8" (15.88mm) high x 2-1/4" (57.15mm) wide for laser engraved lamacoid adhesive number plates (black characters on grey background)

  • Shroud: Aluminum 5052-H32 1/16" (1.59mm) thick

  • Pedestal: 12-gauge painted steel

  • Finish: All aluminum surfaces have a clear anodized finish

Standard Features

  • CMC​™ Model 1301 Pedestal Mount meets and exceeds Canada Post delivery standards (except "A" size doors)

  • Front loading unit to be mounted on a pedestal for interior or exterior use

  • Constructed from extruded aluminum with a clear anodized finish on all surfaces

  • Access handle to facilitate opening of the main gate

  • Equipped with a postal bracket designed for a Canada Post master lock

  • Doors are equipped with cam locks with three (3) keys per door 

  • Anodized aluminum shroud with a 3-3/8" (85.73mm) weather-protective overhang

  • Reinforced steel pedestal

  • Laser engraved lamacoid adhesive number plates (black characters on grey background)

  • Rounded rectangular indentation on each door for number plate placement

  • Parcel compartment tags 1-1/2” (38.1mm) high x 6” (152.4mm) wide with rounded corners provides instructions on parcel retrieval

  • Prepared with four (4) predrilled holes 3/8” (9.53mm) to facilitate attaching the unit to the pedestal (nuts and bolts included)

  • Configurable from 1 to 14 standard compartments high by 2 to 6 standard compartments wide
